Attached is an NAv6TF Technology Report "Firewall Design Center Model and Architecture Requirements IPv6 V1.0". This NAv6TF request came to me as Chair NAv6TF was due December 12, 2005 and we had to get this done within a very short time frame (two weeks). I cannot reveal, nor does it matter, who the request came from to NAv6TF per the rules of engagement, the result is an NAv6TF Technology Report that is public domain. Please see the NAv6TF SME acknowledgements within the document. I want to thank Merike Kaeo, Renee Esposito, Yanick Pouffary, and Ben Schultz for dropping other work to help me with this deliverable. In addition previous contributions from Dave Green, Joe Klein, Gene Cronk, Mike Warfield, and John Baird were considered in the development of this version. This is a living document within the NAv6TF.
NB: For other NAv6TF projects that have deliverables to the NAv6TF please use this as white paper template and I have sent out the MS-Word document previously, but if Project Leaders need it again please send me private email, it is important all papers from the NAv6TF have this common look and feel including the titles of the papers.
